The US is planned to lay the foundations for the EU US Transatlantic Data Protection Framework on Monday Oct 3, 2022. The Framework could then enter into force in March 2023. Watch out for news and also the upcoming certification process for US organizations. 

Once in place, the Framework is a valid data transfer mechanism and organizations will not have to implement the supplementary measures under the SCCs anymore.
