Michalis is an associate in our EU Antitrust & Competition practice in our Brussels Office. Michalis advises on all aspects of EU and international competition law, merger control, EU state aid and EU regulatory law. Michalis has advised international clients from a wide range of sectors, including energy, automotive, consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, natural resources, and petrochemicals.

Michalis has extensive experience advising on the merger control aspects of acquisitions in the energy and automotive sectors, as well as advising companies across the value chain on the antitrust implications of their conduct. Indicatively, Michalis is currently involved in the drafting of a manual of best practices for a major energy producer, designed to ensure the client’s compliance with its competition and regulatory obligations (including REMIT).
