The DSK has published a report summarising its thoughts on the implementation of the GDPR, and the experience gained in doing so. Resulting from this are a number of proposed amendments to the GDPR's text which are based on nine 'issues' identified, such as excessive burden on SMEs and charities, and overreporting of data breaches.

German data protection supervisory authorities publish proposed GDPR amendments
The Conference of Independent German Federal and State Data Protection Supervisory Authorities, Datenschutzkonferenz, has released its report on the application of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. "The GDPR has ensured that progress has been made on achieving the goals of improving the protection of fundamental rights and creating a harmonized Digital Single Market," the DSK wrote.
