The PS5 is coming - and with it, more console streamers

At least in terms of viewership, PC represents the dominant platform for video game streaming. Last night, Sony unveiled its forthcoming PlayStation 5 console, along with a range of flagship titles (I can't wait for Gran Turismo 7). Nerds like me will likely also be excited to see the dual lens 1080p camera, making it easier for players to livestream their gameplay. Will this result in more console-based streamers? With the recently-announced Unreal Engine 5 (which lives up to its name) boosting the immersion of the viewing experience, I think so. In case you missed it, we penned a long-form guide on live streaming which you can read here.

Gran Turismo™ 7 builds on 22 years of experience to bring you the best features from the history of the franchise.
