Remember that GDPR promised better transparency for individuals and even the prospect of standardised icons?
It didn't happen, did it? Instead we are generally stuck with ever lengthening lists of information that companies are expected to put in privacy notices and the madness of constantly changing and confusing cookie pop up requirements.
Interesting to see this week therefore that the Italian DPA has announced a competition to come up with a set of icons for use in privacy notices. Open until the end of May, entries are welcomed from developers and lawyers alike so get those felt tip pens out and get creative.
Unfortunately though, I couldn't see a prize mentioned on the website... other than recognition and glory of course.
